Design of Experiments: A significant amount of money and time is spent in finding out effects of design and process parameters on product performance and product quality. Engineering teams use physical and simulation based numerical experiments to develop designs and process settings that are potentially optimum to give robust product performance.


We offer consulting services in the area of Design of Experiments - measurement based as well as numerical simulation based.


We critically analyze the product design and look for parameters that could be of functional nature. An energy flow approach is used to identify such parameters. Similarly, we critically analyze production process parameters from the perspective of design objectives and consistent product quality. Once the DOE is constructed and experimentation cycle is over, we assist the design teams in evaluating the results.


The next logical step after a DOE is to use Taguchi Method to arrive at a potentially optimum combination of product design and production process parameters to improve the product design and product performance.
